Welcome to my new blog. Although I have an Amazon blog on the pages of my books, Chicken Soup for the Prisoner's Soul, Chicken Soup for the Volunteer's Soul, and Serving Time, Serving Others, this blog will be more interactive and frequent about our work with prisoners.
One of our contributing authors, Jerry Gillies, recently e-mailed me about his blog and so I thought it might be a good idea to have one, too. My wife, Laura, and I had the pleasure of meeting Jerry in person when we presented a seminar for the inmates at Folsom Prison on October 21, 2004.
Below is Jerry's bio that we are planning to print in our new book, Serving Productive Time, which will be available July 1, 2009.
Jerry Gillies is a former journalist (NBC-New York) and author of six books on personal development, including the bestselling Moneylove and the upcoming The Great Escape. For more than twenty years, he conducted seminars and lectures across the United States, Canada, England, and South Africa. He stories are also in Chicken Soup for the Prisoner’s Soul and Serving Time, Serving Others.
